This "Good Samaritan Report to Pet Owner" Note card will allow you to let the owner know that:

- The pet is in distress
- Whether you suspect the pet is suffering from Heat Exhaustion or Hyperthermia (Heat Stroke)- signs provided
- You are looking for them AND/OR
- You contacted law enforcement

This card will also provide you and the owner with the actions for survival. Actions to take ON SCENE before you transport the pet to the veterinarian/emergency clinic.

The ultimate goal during these situations is to provide help for the pet. Immediate action should be first aid. Anger and frustration alone will not save the pet.
