Vehicle Alert Tag - Pak of 3
Keeping Pets Safe Year Round

PET PARENTS!

Know the dangers of vehicle overheating.

HOW IT WORKS
The Heat Alert Tag lets you know when the temperature inside the car turns 85°degrees Fahrenheit. The center piece of the sun design that remains black or gray under 85° degrees temperatures will turns red at 85° and read "Extreme Heat Get Out Immediately".
That means that no child of animal should be left alone and unattended in this vehicle.

WHY ITS IMPORTANT
Common sense tells us that leaving our pets/children inside a parked vehicle on a hot, summer day could be dangerous after an extended period of time. HOWEVER, most of us don't realize that the temperature can skyrocket after just a few minutes.

FACTS:
Parking in the shade or leaving the windows cracked does little to alleviate this pressure cooker. On a warm, sunny day windows collect light, trapping heat inside the vehicle, and pushing the temperature inside to dangerous levels.
On an 85°degree Fahrenheit day, the temperature inside a car with the windows opened slightly can reach 102° degrees within 10 minutes.
After 30 minutes, the temperature will reach 120° degrees.
At 110° degrees, pets are in danger of heatstroke.
On hot and humid days, the temperature in a car parked in direct sunlight can rise more than 30 degrees per minute, and quickly become lethal.

DON'T LET YOUR PETS BECOME A STATISTIC!
Knowledge is power! If you need to run errand, leave the pet at home!

REMEMBER: Opening all windows and leaving your pet unattended is a liability. Strangers can come by get scared/bitten by barking dog, person can feed your pet something it should not have and/or dog can jump out and get lost.
